What is DriveIQ Technologies?
DriveIQ Technologies is the London company behind DriveIQ, an app for people who drive in London for a living. We are independent and not affiliated with Transport for London, Uber or Bolt.
What can the app actually do?
DriveIQ puts London on one live map: concerts, matches and shows with their finish times, Tube, rail, Elizabeth line, DLR and tram status, road accidents and closures, and arrivals and departures at Heathrow, Gatwick, Stansted, Luton and London City. Save an event for reminders before it starts and before the crowd leaves, watch a flight for updates, see reports from other drivers, get directions in one tap, and ask DriveIQ AI about anything on the map.
Is it really free?
Yes. DriveIQ is free to download and the free plan is useful on its own: the live map, every disruption alert the moment it lands, tonight and tomorrow's events, the next 3 hours of flights and 10 AI questions a day. Premium is optional.
What does Premium add?
The full events calendar about two weeks ahead, the whole day of flights at all five airports with as many watched flights as you like, all 7 stations saved, and unlimited AI questions with a wider view of the week. It's £6.99 a month or £49.99 a year, with 7 days free.
How does the free trial work?
7 days free, then it becomes a paid subscription unless you cancel. Cancel any time from your App Store or Google Play account, at least 24 hours before the trial ends if you don't want to be charged.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and the map works straight away. Create a free account (Apple, Google or email) when you want your saved events and stations kept.
What alerts will I get?
Road accidents and closures, line closures on Tube, rail, Elizabeth line, DLR and tram, reminders for events you save, updates on flights you watch, and reports from other drivers. Each one can be switched off in the app.
Where does the data come from?
Live feeds for rail, roads, flights and event listings, refreshed every few minutes. DriveIQ is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for London, Uber or Bolt.
Which cities are covered?
London, for now: major London venues, all 7 rail hubs and the 5 London airports. Want DriveIQ in your city? Tell us which one and we'll email you when it's on the way.
Something wrong or missing in the app?
A wrong finish time, a missing venue or a bug? Contact support with the details and we'll look into it.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. In the app go to Menu, then Settings, then Delete account. Can't get in? Request deletion on our support page.
