01Agreement
These terms govern your use of DriveIQ, operated by DriveIQ Technologies Ltd, registered in England & Wales, company number 17106675, registered office 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX ("we", "us"). By using the app or this website you agree to them.
02The service
DriveIQ provides live event, rail and airport information and alerts to help you plan. Information is provided in good faith from third-party feeds and may not always be complete or accurate. You are responsible for your own driving decisions and for following the law and road rules at all times.
03No guarantee of accuracy
We work hard to keep data timely, but we do not guarantee that any event time, alert or forecast is correct. DriveIQ is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee of demand or earnings.
04Accounts and subscriptions
- The Free plan is available at no cost. Premium is a paid subscription with the features described on our site.
- Subscriptions and any free trial renew automatically unless cancelled, and are managed through the App Store or Google Play. Current prices are shown on our site and confirmed at checkout.
- You can cancel anytime through your App Store or Google Play account. Access continues until the end of the paid period.
- If you start a free trial and do not cancel before it ends, the subscription begins and you are charged. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends to avoid this.
- Prices may change. If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it takes effect and you can cancel.
- You must be 16 or over to hold an account.
05Refunds
All payments are taken by Apple or Google, not by us, so refunds are handled under their policies. Ask through the App Store or Google Play. If something on our side went wrong, contact us through our contact form or support@driveiq.app and we will help you make the case.
Because Premium gives you immediate access to digital content, your statutory 14 day right to change your mind ends once access begins. Your other consumer rights are not affected.
06The AI assistant
DriveIQ includes an AI assistant that answers questions about London events, transport and airports. It can be wrong, out of date, or miss something, so treat what it says as a starting point and check anything that matters before you act on it.
The assistant does not give tax, legal, insurance or financial advice and will decline those questions. For anything of that kind, speak to a qualified professional. Where our marketing mentions that a subscription may be a claimable business expense, that is general information and not advice. Check your own position with your accountant.
Premium includes unlimited use of the assistant for normal driving use. We may apply a fair use limit to stop automated or abusive use, and we will contact you before restricting anything.
07Your content and our content
You keep ownership of what you enter, such as saved events and the questions you ask. You give us permission to process it so we can run the service for you. Everything else, including the DriveIQ name, app, design and data compilations, belongs to us. Do not copy, scrape or redistribute it without written permission.
08Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time from Menu → Settings in the app, or by contacting us through our contact form or support@driveiq.app. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is used fraudulently, or puts the service or other drivers at risk. If we close your account without good reason, we will refund any unused paid period.
09Acceptable use
Don't misuse the service, attempt to disrupt it, or resell access without permission.
10Reports from drivers
Reports you post are shown to other drivers. Only post what you have seen yourself, keep it accurate, and never include anyone's personal details, number plates or anything unlawful or abusive. We may remove any report and suspend accounts that misuse reports. To flag a report, contact us through our contact form or support@driveiq.app and we will review it promptly.
11Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from reliance on the information provided or from use of the app. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
12App stores
If you download DriveIQ from the App Store or Google Play, you also agree to that store's terms. Apple and Google are not parties to this agreement, are not responsible for DriveIQ, and have no obligation to support it. Any claim about the app is between you and us.
13Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can bring a claim in your local courts.
14Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the product develops and will note the date at the top. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you in the app or by email. Questions: our contact form or support@driveiq.app.
